Midnight Mass has begun

During this time of the year, Midnight Masses usually begin. This eucharistic celebration of the birth of Christ would continue until Christmas day. The mass is held typically at Midnight, but some parishes/churches adjust the time according to their needs. Is Midnight Mass practiced in your area? Have you ever attended one?

We used to have midnight Mass on 24th December but many parishes have abolished the custom for safety considerations.

Yes, many also did that here due to covid. I hope it will soon pass.

I've never heard of it. The whole term is new to me. I'm glad I learned something today.
