Vermillion Parish police officers doing their part to brighten the lives of foster children

Foster children who live in Vermillion Parish will be getting some Christmas gifts courtesy of the deputies that work for the Vermillion Parish Sheriff's Office (VPSO) this year for Christmas.
Thanks to donations from the family and friends of the VPSO, the officers will take a day off from their work of police duty to go to shop and buy toys for the foster children who reside in the Lafayette region.
Both the foster children and the deputies will come out winners in this venture since the deputies will gain the confidence of their community while the foster kids will enjoy their Christmas presents this year.
