Even though the name of former National Football League player Tori Gurley is not well known by the majority of American football fans, Tori who is a native of Rock Hill South Carolina is doing his part to give back to his community since he himself has been through the crisis that a youth football team in Rock Hill that lost their sponsor before traveling to Florida to play in a national championship football game. Tori received a phone call from the mother of the Westside Junior Hawks' football team who probably knows Tori personally contacted him to ask for his help. Tori who insists that he did not make the donation to the Westside Junior football team for publicity purposes but for doing it out of the kindness of his heart made the donation to the football team who won their championship this year. Tori is hoping that the youth football players that he has helped will follow his example and give back when they become adults one day. Not all American football players are spoiled brats. There are some good former football players that remember where they came from when they were children.

I have noticed that when a sports star in not a household name, they usually are nicer persons that a star player who is in the spotlight a lot.

@Deepizzaguy You might be right. I’ve never been a sports fan so I know very little about the players.

@RubyHawk I am only a causal fan of sports with the exception of bowling on video games for exercise.

I'm glad that the football team got a much needed donation from Gurley.

I agree with you since winning a championship with help from a former football player is very sweet.

I agree with you since to many kids, playing American football is their dream so they can give back to their communities when they get older,
