Christmas Shopping

Hubby and I decided to have our Christmas Grocery shopping today. Tomorrow is the 23rd and I could not imagine the holiday rush so its better to do it today. I had a short list with me because I do not have plans of having a full packed Christmas meal on the table.
I do expect guests may be on the 25th but sometimes my relatives such as my siblings with their children including the grandchildren come by on the night of the 24th, Not surprising because they only live few blocks away.
The grocery store was not really full of people when we came. May be we were quite early. I hope I never forgot anything because its hard when you miss out something.

Sounds like a lovely fai time this Christmas with delicious food! I'm getting ready for oshogatsu...all I need is kamisama bana, which Marukai says coming Friday. Looking very good for both Christmas & New Year. I too, went shopping, got extra goodies for Christmas... cookies 29 ct for just 2.99 and an Apple Dutch pie made with grape juice, no sugar! 8" for $6 and vanilla ice cream on sale, pint of Organic Ice Cream, 2.37! Merry Christmas!

Good to get it done in advance. I don't need much, pretty well stocked already so mine can wait until tomorrow.

We bought our groceries and gifts days ago because of the Christma rush. Yes, the 24th eve would be a time for most families.
Glad you had a great time with your family.
We celebrate the New Year usually in our own houses. but Christmas is with family.
