This headline was just in my inbox. I think that is really progress, and perfect for those who just have mild cases as per Omicron. We may never be totally rid of this awful virus, but the treatments will certainly improve to the point that it won't rain misery on the world. I look at this as a good thing...don't you?

@LadyDuck They are pretty full here now and will probably get worse. The nurses are very frustrated as the vast majority of those are unvaccinated.

I saw that headline on my AP News app and read the article. The “problem” (a catch-22 of sorts) is that it only works within the first five days, and it usually takes 5-7 days to get the bug, get symptoms, get to the doctor, get tested, and get the results.
HOWEVER, it is definitely a major step forward!!!!
