Have you experienced earthquakes

December 24, 2021 6:04am CST
Natural disasters continue to make us apprehensive. We cannot be in a settled mood when floods, earthquakes and the similar occur. I have myself experienced two earthquakes. One was in 2015 and the other was in 2020. Fortunately, I did not fall on the ground. The first earthquake was so fierce and spine-tingling that I could not keep my balance during the length of the quake. The second one, was, however, not as cataclysmic as the first one. It took about a minute and a half for the first earthquake to go away. After those two earthquakes, I plan to add more strength to the house. I think that a few layers of proper cement need to be added to my walls to make my house stronger than ever. Also, that would ensure a better protection of my house against natural calamities. Life throws surprises at us without notice. Thus, we have to be vigilant and heedful to better safeguard our precious lives. Nobody desires to shuffle off the mortal coil and that is a universal truth. We have to make thorough use of our lives.

I always experience quake, in a classroom, in the faculty office at home. In school, I witness the big school building swaying, my God so scary but it's too strong, the architecture pattern n was based from the medieval period. At home, our stuffs swayed too. I felt our floor moved, so scary.

Lots of quakes where I live (Tokyo). I'm fine when they are during the day but I don't like it when they wake me up.

I'm glad nothing bad happened during those earthquakes. I have experienced earthquakes in the past I was a child and it wasn't intense. But it made me realize what are the things worth grabbing before I go out in case of an intense earthquake.

we often feel earthquakes here, like it has become our daily breakfast, but even though there are frequent earthquakes, we are never used to it. The panic of local residents keeps coming and going, I hope we can get used to the earthquake
