A family of five person went through a very tragic event that I would never wish on my worst enemy in life when a fire destroyed their home on Wednesday in Greensboro North Carolina which killed their family dog and destroyed all of their presents. However in the events of the tragic event in Greensboro that the married couple who have three children in the ages of three, four and 12 received a gift from firefighters that held a fundraiser to assist them by giving the family Wal Mart gift cards that are worth $2,500 dollars on Monday. Greensboro Fire Captain Ken Lilly mentioned that what they did was done in the spirit of Christmas to assist a family that needed some holiday cheering up at their moment of loss. Crystal Givens who is the mom of the three children is very grateful that her prayers were answered with the gift from the firefighters who came to see her as a surprise. Crystal and her relatives are hoping that donors will assist her in rebuilding their home through GoFundMe.com. Firefighters are indeed real heroes who do what they can to save lives as well as assist needy people during their darkest times in life.

This is not a good thing. I would rather let the burglars enter my house to steal things than this.

I'm glad the firefighters helped them after they lost their home. They still need a home, however, until they can build a new one.

I am with you since not having a home is the worst feeling anyone can have to deal with me.

Now those people are without a home. I hope the Red Cross will help find a home.

I am sure that the American Red Cross will assist the Givens family to find a home until they can find a new home next year.

Oh my gosh what a terrible thing to happen to this family, not only at the holidays, but also the loss of the family dog. So sad. What the firefighters did was wonderful, but hopefully, the Go Fund Me account will bring in a lot more than $2,500.
