One Thing I expect to happen in 2022!! A world free from Virus!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. There are few days left to New Year.
The only thing I expect to happen in 2022 is a world free from Virus. I just hope and pray that it somehow vanishes from the face of planet Earth.
Since the pandemic, almost everyone's life is disrupted. Many have lost jobs, their dear ones, the freedom to go outside without masks, freedom to go out during lockdown, scarcity of essential items and what not.
Our life was coming back to normal, when the cases reduced but again a new variant of virus named Omicron has entered our lives.
Noone knows what our future holds in 2022. We can just hope and pray that this virus doesn't cause much destruction and somehow magically in this new year, all the viruses disappears from our planet.

It would be nice, but I don't think he virus will magically disappear in 2022. I do expect it will cause less and less of a threat howevet..

@cacay1 Yes, it is too much to expect a virus free world, but I expect it to become less and less of a player in years to come.

@cacay1 It isn't going to be at the level it is now, for years to come.. I have even heard of a Covid pill you can take at home, but when that will be available who knows?

I would love to see the virus to go away in 2022 and no more variants. I have no idea what will happen. I would like to see this virus gone and back to some kind of normalcy in our lives. I do not celebrate the New Year on the 31st of this month. I only observe our Jewish New Year which is in September. I do not make resolutions.
