Got an external hard disk delivered by Amazon today.
It cost me around 51 dollars.
Do you think it's a good deal or not?
Is there any price difference in your part of the world?
A few months back it was around 45 dollars, but I didn't needed it at that point of
time, so I didn't buy it.
Well, my laptop's memory is almost full, so, I needed it urgently.
Now I will delete the useless data from my laptop and transfer the important ones to
the external hard drive.
Let's see by this way my laptop's speed increases or not because my browser is
working very slowly and I don't want to switch from Chrome to any other browser.
I have a lot of bookmarks too which are important for me and I don't want to delete
them. But, in the end, if nothing works then I would start deleting the bookmarks.
I have checked it and there is nothing wrong with the end of my ISP (Internet Service Provider).

What is the available space on the new hard drive. (I bought a new one for Pretty a couple of months ago with 4 TB and paid $51 for it on sale at Walmart in our city. I bought myself a new hard drive and paid $63 for it. Mine has 6 TB available.)
Clearing the memory on your pc will definitely speed it up again. Good luck sorting through all the junk and important stuff.... When I did that I still ended up having a pile of junk I kept on the new drive.

@prasuns That's quite expensive, by our standards. But I hope your new HD holds up well for you.
Please do let me know if you have any problems or if the speed doesn't increase. There are several things you can try that can affect the speed once you've cleared the memory.

@DaddyEvil i am thinking of using mozilla firefox as my main browser and quitting chrome.
I would use chrome for specific job like banking and all.

I bought an external hard drive; but it was a long time ago. $51 sounds like a good price.
