My challenge to you

I have a little less than thirteen hours to go till it is a whole new year. I was sitting here thinking about my last post and all that is going wrong in the world today, or at least as I see it. I then started thinking about how we each need to do our part right? They say each of us can make a difference in our own lives. We can make the world a better place. I used to think, yeah right what am I going to do to change the world. Well, I don’t have to change the whole world but maybe just my little part of the world. We talk this time every year about New Year’s resolutions, and I have always said they are a waste of time. I have even replied on a few of your post that I don’t bother with them. I think they are kind of silly most of the time. People say oh I am going to do this or that and then within a week or a month they are back to doing what they always do. Well, I have a challenge to all of you and myself. Let’s make the world a better place. I’m not talking about changing the whole world or your country, but what about changing someone’s day for the better? I challenge us to do one nice thing each week. Open a door for someone, say hello to that neighbor you always avoid, give to a charity, try to understand someone else opinion and don’t judge them for it. There are a ton of ways we can do something small to make a difference. Then post about it and let us know so we can pat you on the back for it. Yeah, I know a lot of people say do it without expecting anything in return but with all the bad that happens every day let's hear the good things no matter how small. If we start this maybe it will have an effect on others who will then do their part and it will spread. What if we title our post something like “Changing the World”? See how many of these posts we can get throughout the year.
