On a cable ghost show I was watching a few nights ago they had this story on it about a motel in Nevada:
When you are on the highway in Nevada traveling the 441 miles between Las Vegas and Reno you might want to stop at some point. Maybe even stay overnight somewhere. One of the towns out there in nowheresville is one named Tonopah, once known as the greatest, richest, and best mining town in the world. In the early 1900's it was a mining town. On February 3, 1911, there was an accident in the mine and 17 men died. One of the men's kids wanted to build a monument of some kind in remembrance of their dad, Clarence David. They decided to build a motel. David loved clowns and so in this motel are about 600 clowns of all shapes and sizes. Some are painted on the wall. Some are in the form of nic-nacs on shelves, but, in each and every room there are clowns. Can you imagine? It seems that a ghost named The Trickster inhabits this hotel and makes himself known in weird ways. Some visitors are greeted by The Trickster and they see him walking over to them from the cemetery next door to the motel. He likes to appear as a shadow figure or they might be awakened by him standing at the foot of their bed. The Trickster can be very disconcerting.
How do you feel about clowns? They weird me out.

When i think of clowns the first thought comes to my mind is the Joker. The good clown that I like is Bozo The Clown who had a children's television show in Chicago on WGN television. It is a mixed big of my thoughts of clowns.

That is one creepy-looking clown illustrating your post. I'm not phobic about clowns, but I'm not fond of them, either.

I thought so too. I don't think I'm phobic either. Just don't care for them.

They don't bother me. I can't see enough detail to really care.

After seeing "It", knowing John Wayne Gacy was a clown for kids in his home town, and several other horror films with clowns I just don't care for them.

Why clowns have to be that scary. I mean the joker is already scary enough.

I think The Joker is tame compared to some of the clowns nowadays. With the teeth and all. Ugh!

I can do without clowns. Nowadays they are no longer fun creatures.
