Vaccination Drive for teens started in India!!! 40 lakh jabbed on first day itself!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Amidst, the Omicron scare and rising cases in India, our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi had declared on 25th December that "Vaccination for teens between age 15-18years will start from 3rd Jan, 2022.
There are basically two types of vaccine given in India. First is Covishield made by Serum Institute of India, in Pune. Second is Covaxin made by Bharat Biotech in India.
On 3rd January, the first day itself saw 40 lakhs teens getting jabbed with vaccines in all over India. The Vaccination centres are opened in some schools and educational institutes itself across the country.
The kids are given Covaxin which is manufactured by Bharat Biotech. I feel it's a great initiative taken by my country.
I just hope and pray that as more people gets vaccinated, the number of cases can be controlled.

Here, they already started vaçcination for teens and those who are aged 12-17. My niece was done with the second dose.
