It is a shame that the owner of a French bulldog who did not want to give out her name in public had the bad luck of having her pet stolen from her while she was walking Rosie in the San Francisco area by someone who took Rosie away from her on New Years Day morning.
The owner of Rosie was so shocked that someone would steal her best friend. The owner of Rosie then posted most likely on social media that she would pay $10,000 dollars as a reward to anyone who would return Rosie to her with no questions asked.
A person who saw the plea for help when she received a phone call from the San Francisco Police on Monday morning claiming that a person who lives in Sacramento had purchased Rosie from someone.
The person who purchased Rosie decided to return the dog to her owner in order to collect the reward money which Rosie's owner accepted.
Rosie and her owner were reunited in Vacaville on Monday which made Rosie's owner a very happy person that she is back with her best friend.
As of the dog thief. karma will get you one day. Count on it.

That is a good question on why the dog thief has not been arrested yet.

@sinari I am sorry for the loss of your dog, I had a similar experience many years ago when a female dog that my relatives and I adopted ran away from home and never returned.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, I can feel it, how happy the owner of the dog is. Because I've also lost a dog that is cute and I really love. But sadly my dog ??never came back again.

Stealing a dog is one of the cruelest acts in the crime world today.

There are many dogs and cats that need to be adopted. Not steal one from an owner.

I know what you mean since I am sure that the owner felt sick to her stomach that she could not prevent the crook from stealing her pet.

I know what you mean since there are many dogs and cats awaiting to be adopted in animal shelters.

It breaks my heart to learn that some people steal dogs on the streets these days instead of adopting a dog from an animal shelter.

I'm glad the owner got Rosie back. It is so cruel to steal someone's dog for financial gain. It's possible that the owner would never have gotten the dog back.

You are right since evil minded people do not care who they hurt when they commit a crime of that kind.
