During family gatherings, apart from heavy meals such as rice, meat and fish and vegetables, traditional snacks or desserts are also served.
Like the one in this photo. There is corn on the cob that has been cut into pieces, there are boiled peanuts , koro beans, there are purple and yellow sweet potatoes that have been boiled and cut into pieces,
there is a coconut that has been grated, and there are raw bananas that have been boiled and chopped as well.
Then arranged or arranged neatly on a container such as a winnow or a wide tray, so that it is presented properly, as shown above.
Image is mine.

I love boiled peanuts and saba bananas, corn on the cob ( boiled or grilled) and sweet potatoes ( yellow or violet) but here it's more of everyday afternoon snack we Filipinos call " merienda ", grated coconut most of the time is just toppings for certain rice cakes. Your snacks are very delicious and healthy almost identical to ours
I do not know koro beans.

Thanks very much. I'm sure you will recognize this dish. Because this food consists of corn, peanuts, boiled bananas, purple sweet potatoes and yellow ones. Except for koro beans which are round in shape, maybe these don't exist in your place, but they can also exist. Happy New Year too

Yes, I believe it's . Because our country is different, so I think the appetizers and desserts will also be different. If what is in my Photo is a traditional dessert or appetizer, it is rarely held nowadays at my place.
But at a modern party, we will also eat modern appetizers or desserts, such as pudding, cake, ice cream, fruit salad etc. Like western-style appetizers and desserts. Thank you friend.

@rebelann If you want to look for raw bananas, don't go to the store, because what is sold in stores is bananas that are ripe on the tree. Looking for unripe bananas, you have to go directly to the banana plantation, or order it from a banana farmer. But if you don't have it, you can also boil the ripe bananas that have been sold at the store. Just boil it for a while, or just steam it for a while, so it doesn't become mushy. It's also delicious and sweet.

In order not to be curious, then once in a while you have to try it yourself. This means that you buy bananas that are still raw, not bananas that are ripe on the tree. But it must be an unripe banana. Then you boil it with a little water, until the banana is ripe or feels a little mushy. Then remove, cool, after that you eat.
Then, you buy peanuts that still have the skin on them, then boil them, or steam them until they are cooked. Once cooked, remove and cool. After the beans cool, then you eat. Only after you eat will you know how good the taste of boiled peanuts and boiled bananas. So you won't be curious anymore.
