Officially I am blocked

Yesterday, I wished all of my friends Happy New Year on Whatapps messager. Number of people whom I wished were too less so I could easily track whom my message was sent and to whom it was delivered and who revert back to me.
And I found that one of my college friend blocked me!
You might be thinking how I came to this conclusion
1) I got only single tick for my message
2) I can't see her profile/status
3) I can't even call that number. ( It gives me one ring and phone disconnect so there is block is enabled through phone )
Have you ever been blocked on Whatsapps ?
And you came to know when you thought of wishing a occasion, how you reacted to it ?

I only have four friends that use Whatsapp that I've connected with through it. (There are a lot of people in my phone's directory that use Whatsapp but I don't use it to talk with them. *shrug*) I've had one friend who either changed phone numbers without telling me or who blocked me... (He's an Indian who moved to the US to work.)
I don't mind if someone blocks me. That means I have one less person to spend time talking with... so I can concentrate more on the ones who didn't block me.
I do miss the friend who blocked me but hope he always does well and lives a happy and fulfilling life.

Lol I can't concentrate now 
I never talked with her, for past 1 year... That doesn't mean I was ever mean to her or said something bad to her1 person likes this

I don't do or know anything about whats apps. But it does upset me when a friend blocks me for no reason I know

Did you guys have any problems before? because it's very strange when suddenly you are blocked by her. I was blocked by my ex-girlfriend, maybe because she was trying to forget me but now it's not blocked anymore

It might be accidental. No one would block someone for good wishes. I have never been blocked by anyone on WhatsApp but I have blocked a few numbers that were unknown and kept sending spam messages.
