I read a post in another Site where the wife who got her two shots was a victim of Covid and got a severe attack but the husband with no vaccination is hale and hearty. Are we being taken for a ride?

I want to think we are. I mean in terms of trying to minipulate us into taking the vaccine. The science, itself, is hit-or-miss. And, just like the virus, itself, each person who takes the vaccine, runs not only the risk of contracting COVID, but having a possible severe reaction to it. It's called a failure rate, and all medicines, vaccines and treatments have it. With little transparancy, it makes it hard for a person to do their personal risk-benifit assessment to decide if this vaccine is worth it.

I have known of many cases where there have been blocks in the veins leading to implanting stents.

I am not sure a lot of people getting it being fully vaccinated. Well, here is the thing vaccinations diminish with time, why they say get a flu shot every year. That is what the booster is for because they saying after about 6 months from 2nd vaccination 0r if Johnson and Johnson 6 months after that you should get the booster. I am wondering when these people were vaccinated and many here only got one shot here, not both and they did not get the Johnson and Johnson one. We just got our booster and threw in the flu shot on same day for good measure. None of my family has got it, but we all a bunch of loners where most people just cannot do that. I heard most people who are fully vaccinated are just getting very mild symptoms and hospitals still say here, the only ones really dying are the unvaccinated but there is always exceptions to the rule.

@allknowing Yeah different immune systems and depends on age too, is she older? I know a lot of ladies here just do not eat right because they so worried about gaining weight. Those type of ladies always seem to be getting sick even before the pandemic.

@allknowing Yeah, we need more data and I think scientists and doctors and researchers all over worked right now, just will have to give it some time and as soon as it warms up numbers will go back down. People outside more and virus does not live past a certain temperature. Why I say you should keep your house so warm, but what do I know. Its like 77 degrees here, not sure what that is in your country.

Not being taken for a ride. Look around. Sometimes other health issues come into play.

I think the disease has it own peculiarity and it is a mystery why it attacks some and not others.

People who are vaccinated and even boostered still get covid and not necessarily mild either. I know people who are vaccinated who got covid and the symptoms weren’t mild at all. Vaccines are definitely not as effective as they claim them to be. Neither are masks.

Protocol is far more effective than vaccination. I too know of severe cases where many have had double doses

@allknowing and yet they are forcing the vaccine on us. At least where I live. In NYC, you can’t do anything (dine inside a restaurant, go to museums, concerts, etc) unless you are vaccinated. And they are even forcing people to get vaccinated if they want to keep their job. And they are offering money to those that get the jab. If the vaccine was so effective people would willingly get it without the need for incentives, bribes, etc.

It's a fickle disease. Before a vaccine was available my dad got Covid so bad I feared he would die. Yet his wife tested negative throughout even though she never left his side.

there are some people who refuse to be vaccinated for several reasons, namely regarding the effect and actually I feel healthier after being vaccinated

As in everything in the world, there are people who will say one thing and others who will say the opposite. I had my 3 shots,, one more for flu, wear mask and don´t get too near other people. That´s MY way.

Protocol is the way to go - more than depending on those vaccines.
