Bobby White and Josh Trujillo who are students at the Colorado School Of Mines are being praised as savior of a two year old Chesapeake Bay retriever named Apollo was trapped inside of snow when he accidently caused an avalanche at the Berthoud Pass area a week ago. The two students were told by Apollo's owner Scott Shepherd who was with his friends that his dog was trapped in the snow after he fell down a cliff after he started an avalanche by accident. Both Bobby and Josh used probe poles to locate the missing dog which took about 20 minutes to locate the dog that stayed alive by sticking out his nose out of the snow. Bobby and Josh and a bystander worked together to free Apollo from being buried in the snow. Even though Apollo limped at first after he was rescued, Apollo has made a full recovery. Scott is lucky that his dog did not perish in the snow after his accident with the avalanche. Maybe Apollo has a guardian angel like humans do.

I'm so sorry for the dog that was hit by the avalanche. Glad to know the dog has finally been rescued. He must have been cold and almost frozen in the snow.

The dog was very cold and wet being stuck in the snow since he limped when he was rescued at first before he was able to walk again.

@Deepizzaguy Yes, I can imagine how tormented that dog must have been when stuck in the snow. Glad the dog is now rescued

I agree with since I do know that humans do have Guardian Angels but I have never heard of animals having Guardian Angels.
