Supply chain problems meet cat

I ordered KitKat's meds today and also more of her special food. Except the vet is having a supply chain problem with Royal Canin food, so she recommended another brand, which I bought because KitKat's food is getting really low. She recommended mixing it with the old food so she gets used to it. I hope she likes it and that we don't encounter a hunger strike. I guess if she gets hungry enough she will eat, but she will complain if she doesn't like it. Supply chain issues, meet cat. Who will win.

I've really never had a problem with a cat refusing food. I had a dog who wouldn't eat Dog Chow. When we took in the dog, a partial bag of Dog Chow came with her. Would NOT eat it. She'd eat anything else, some more eagerly than others, but she'd go hungry before she at Dog Chow. She's been gone a long time, but she was a good dog.
