Dragon's Den

I have been thinking of starting a new business for years but every time I think of a new idea, I somehow lack the ambition to start. Some business ideas I previously thought of was a soap making business, jewellery business, wine making business and even a proof reading business. I have been watching Dragon's Den which is a TV programme shown in the UK where budding entrepreneurs get three minutes to pitch their business ideas to five multimillionaires who are willing to invest their own cash. I am really amazed with the new ideas people have thought of. Do you have a home business or have you ever had a business? How did you go about establishing your business?

I did at one time when chenille pillows were popular. I made pillows at home for a chenille factory. It was a second income. I didn’t earn a lot but it was a big help for our family.

I don't have any business but it's not that easy to start a business in India as we have a lot of rules and it needs capital. Moreover I am old to set up any business.

Yes. I had a temporary placement service. I hired temporary employees for various businesses. I had to do a lot of research before opening the business.

No. Not yet. But reading your post gave me some ideas. Previously, I had the idea of starting a salon or buying land and using it for car parking where I offer car parking services

What was one of those new ideas? I am curious. No I had never had a home business, except doing a few hairdressing appointments. Word of mouth always won the day for me.

It is also in Romania, something similar. It is called "Empire of the Lions" where smaller businessmen come and ask for investments! Yes, I have a business that works. . . good!
