The day before yesterday I wanted to cook a couple of potatoes for yesterday´s lunch.
I had my lunch and went fot a five minute nap. I woke up a lot later with that burned potato smell. I ran.
I got out the potatos and placed the pot at the garage. It is still there.
Today I am making a escalivada in the electric oven. I turned on the dial and it will turn off at the exact moment.
I cut an eggplant for the escalivada but I´ll use the other to make a baba ganouch.I have all the ingredients.
I decided to add part of the escalivada to the tortilla. I´ll will turn out perdect

Many people had wood stoves here but now they only have it in the south. Where I live we cannot burn wood in stoves or chimneys because of the pollution.

The escalivada or the baba ganouch? You can read recipes of both online. The baba ganouch is a sort of hummus that you make with eggplants instead of chick peas.

I'm glad your oven has an automatic "off" setting.
