Six duck hunters are grateful that members of the Cape Cod United States Coast Guard (USCG) answered their call for help on Saturday afternoon when their boat was trapped near Duck Island when the low tide caused their boat to be trapped. The USCG sent a helicopter to the area where the boat was stuck to rescue the six duck hunters and take them to the local Emergency Medical Services in Sandy Neck to be examined for any injuries which thank goodness there the six hunters are in good medical condition. The boat that was stuck near the Duck Island will be moved from the marsh at a later time by the authorities. Our brave members of the USCG did their duty to rescue persons who needed their assistance once again.

The professionals sometimes put their own lives at risk to help others.
