Do you Use Pillow?

January 18, 2022 2:20pm CST
Okay It's been 3 years now I stopped using pillow while sleeping on bed. I don't remember why I stopped using it but few days back I read its better to sleep without pillow as it keep your spinal cord at same level. Reading such post made me feel like I took a right decision here How about you. Do you use it if yes what the story behind using it?

I like having my head slightly elevated when l sleep. One pillow will do, but if l use two, l might awaken with a stiff neck.

This is what has just happened to me. I thought sleeping with two pillows was a good idea. But it wasn't. My neck hurts rather badly.

@Kandae11 You haven't mentioned on your site in which country you live. So I don't know if it is likely that we both may have suffered from atmospheric turbulences which made us both sleep with two pillows and now regret it. ;-)

I've always liked flat pillows - not sure why. When it's too high, my neck and shoulders get achy. Hmmm, maybe I will try to sleep without one tonight just to see what happens .

That is what I read on that blog which suggest not to use it. I guess flat will do good. Pillows can be used when you sleep sideways. Like DE mentioned.

@much2say That's fine. Don't do experiments. Its okay. Its more like with what you are comfortable with

Yes, I do. I sleep on my side. I've always used a pillow. Mom put one on my bed when I was little and I've used one ever since.

I rarely sleep on my side ways. But it's recommended by many to chose to sleep side ways. Initially I used to face problem when my head was elevated a bit so I started sleeping without one. And now it became habit. Unless I am sleeping sideways then I use it between my shoulder and head.

Yes, I am using it. I like my head elevated in the beginning of my sleep. The next thing I know in the morning, I threw it away on the floor.

I sleep in a recliner due to spinal problems. No pillow of course.
