So, I lost my phone months ago and now I could not access my Paypal account because my old phone number was linked to it. I can't seem to get some info on how could I access my account. I've been trying to logged in but it's of no avail. I badly need help on this.

Why not get a new phone and transfer your old number to it. Is your old number still belongs to you?

I am considering that option, but when I called the network I need to go to their branch office and present the sim card housing each I didn"t keep. It is way much of a hassle.

I'm sorry to hear this. A few months ago I thought I had this problem too. But fortunately for me I found that I had linked my home landline to my account and forgot about it, so I could access my account that way and then link my new phone. I'm afraid I don't know how you can resolve this as I didn't know how I was going to either until I realised I'd linked my landline to my PayPal account. Sorry.

This is similar to what happened to me, the phone number that was linked to my account is no longer mine, it was lost months ago, when I lost my phone. This is a downside, since our country allows easy change of mobile numbers.

@kixsh101 The thing that happened with mine was I went to get a new phone and I wanted to keep the same phone number, but when they looked at it they said that because I hadn't made an outgoing call on my mobile in the last 3 months, my number had been recycled, which basically means they binned it and I couldn't get it back. I had to have a new number to go with my new phone. And also I had to go onto a contract, rather than pay as you go, because when you've got a contract your number doesn't get recycled if you don't make an outgoing call, whereas if you're on pay as you go, it does.

You can contact them via email. I haven't encountered such problem. I wish you will come out of this problem soon. Enjoy your day.
