Bait and Switch or Erroneous Assumption?

So, I guess I am going to go with the erroneous assumption, however, it was not really good on their part either. I saw quiches being advertised at Lidl for 3.95 I think it was. Normally, I like to make my own quiches but to buy one so inexpensively, seemed great, so when I was in the city the other day I bopped down there. I found the quiches, but lo and behold instead of being the size of a regular pie tin, they are about 5 inches, sort of a cross between a tart and a pie. I was seriously annoyed, but decided to buy it anyway. I am going to have to look at the ad again, to see if it specifies that, I bet it doesn't! Have you ever encountered such an issue?

I mean wouldn't you just assume it would be pie sized? It doesn't say small quiches or anything.

@snowy22315 Well, quiches here are always small here, so I would not expect to find a big one.

@mildredtabitha Quiche is a egg pie that you put different things in like spinach, broccoli, bacon, ham etc. Different varieties of quiche. I like them all!

I may have had something similar happen but not recently. We did, however, have quiche tonight. I didn't make it myself but I think it's time to start making our own.
The one we get is very good but I know it would be so much more cost effective to make our own.

That's one of the things I don't like about ordering groceries on line. It's often hard to tell the size of something. I've ended up with three very large cans of corn starch...I won't have to ever buy it again!

@snowy22315 I love ordering groceries from Walmart and picking them up in the parking lot. I can avoid crowds like that, but some things need to be picked out in person.
