Sauerkraut and hot dogs. / myLot

My mom use to make sauerkraut and hot dogs all the time when I was younger. She would cut the hot dogs and cook the cut up hot dogs with the sauerkraut. I am going to start looking for places to where I can buy sauerkraut because I would like to have sauerkraut and hot dogs again. It has been awhile since I ate sauerkraut and hot dogs.

Pickled cabbage is a miracle. We also use cabbage for many dishes!

I think most supermarkets have sauerkraut jarred or canned, I also love hot dogs and sauerkraut, My mom used to make awesome stewed sauerkraut Latvian style, Now that was really great, You could have that with hot dogs and boiled potatoes leaving out the bun,

I would have to look up the Latvian style recipe to see if my mom made it that way. I like the plain sauerkraut and hot dogs.
