Wearing clean clothes reflects my real persona in the eyes of the beholders. It simply reflects how I feel for a particular day. My fashion sense reflects my character, style, mood, or whatever I wanted to show to people close to my heart. Wearing clean neat clothes is a sing of respect to the others, not only a way to feel well ourselves.

@Shavkat I would never visit someone without clean clothes, extremely rude, this would mean you do not consider at all important the person you are visiting.

Well, you don't need clothes to be clean for that, but having them clean does help in your sens of self.

I do agree that we can wear old neat clothes and not need to indulge in trendy ones.
