Here is another wonderful story of how the Cleveland firefighters are earning the respect and admiration of their community when they answered a call for help from a concerned citizen who reported seeing a house that was on fire on Wednesday during the daytime. The fire started in the back of the home on the first floor that spread to the second floor where a dog was inside while his owners were away likely at work at the time of the fire. The firefighters were able to save the dog whose gender and name were not released from passing away by rescuing the dog who is in good health as he was given oxygen and albuterol. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The costs of the damages due to the fire is not known at this time.

I know they put their own lives at risk, but I am glad they saved the dog. There was a photo of a firefighter who rescued a cat and is carrying it away. The cat is just gazing at the human

I agree with you since anytime no one gets hurt in a fire is good news.

Firefighters, among first responders, are the true heroes. Not that the others are not heroes of course. But firefighters actually save many more lives. I really do admire them.

The same here since they have very hard jobs that can end their lives putting out fires and rescuing animals and human beings alike.
