Low Insulin

Rupert, Idaho

I got a message from my endocrinologist today that the results from the C-Peptide test came back. My insulin level is pretty low. My result was 0.6 - which is in the normal range but at the very low side. My potassium is also a bit low...he mentioned foods to add which I won't. I'll drink more Keto chow and Zipfizz which have more potassium anyways. Maybe salt with the no-salt instead too. That's the latest update on my health...could be worse

Thank goodness you are okay to the point where improvements to your diet will make you feel better.

@MommyOfEli2013 I had the same problem when I got sick from COVID 19 like symptoms in 2020 around March.

Well it stinks that I can't eat certain foods anymore...

@Deepizzaguy well for me it's not a symptom. Just carbs are not good for my health

Does that mean your sugar level is too low?
• Rupert, Idaho
27 Jan 22
Nope...means if I eat carbs and sugar my sugar will go up unless I take insulin

Those only come in small amounts though so I'd have to take a lot. I get 950 mg in my zipfizz drinks

Why not listen to drs food choices?

Because they are foods I do not like; mostly veggies which are not a part of my diet lol...yuck!

Well, the low end of normal isn't so bad, I would think. Good luck.
