Full-Body Scanner for Detecting People with Covid-19

I have this weird thinking that we could be in safe hands if malls or any establishments have full-body scanners installed. The main goal is to detect people who are infected with Covid 19. The downside is that it will cost an arm and a leg for having them, right? I only saw them in airports though. For safety measures, it would be effective to control this killer virus. Do you think all malls or establishments should have full-body scanners? Image Credit: static01.nyt.com

I think our privacy is invaded too much already. A body scanner would not show who has Covid. Even if it did, it is too much. And what affect will all that radiation have on people's bodies and minds?

I agree. All I know is that it can only detect people who have pyrexia.

It seems pandemic progresses there then. It will be in such a situation especially if the local government does not have allotted budget for them to be installed.

What little privacy we have left should be protected. This is over the line in my opinion.

You have a point. Before it will happen, I am sure most people will protest against it.

Something like that would be challenged in court here and the machines would be removed for personal privacy reasons.
