My friend invited me to eat empek empek. This empek empek tastes good, and when eaten it feels chewy. This food is made from mackerel fish, sago flour, sugar, salt, water, salt and flavoring. crushed garlic and vinegar. Friends, is there any food similar to this empek empek at your place? Image is mine

@May2k8 Oh, I see. So the real empek empek actually uses duck eggs. It's possible that many people don't like eating duck eggs, or maybe it's also a bit difficult to find duck egg sellers, so people prefer to use chicken eggs. Or it could be, because the price of duck eggs is more expensive than the price of chicken eggs.

Yes, I happened to ask my friend for the ingredients, he only mentioned the ingredients I wrote down. Maybe he forgot. But indeed I have also eaten empek empek which is filled with chicken eggs. And the size of the empek empek ball is quite large too. I rarely eat this empek empek. Thank you for being reminded.

Because indeed fish is our main menu when eating rice. And as you know, the staple food in Indonesia is rice. So when we eat, the menu is sometimes fish and vegetables, or eggs and vegetables, or beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables. I know you rarely eat fish. Because in western countries or America, most of the food is bread, cheese and meat, and vegetables. That's why I eat a lot of fish.

@sinari You've made a mistake. I don't "rarely" eat fish. I NEVER eat fish. Fish isn't a food. Neither is rice, for that matter.

@DaddyEvil Hahaha... you seem to be teasing me again, friend. Everyone in this world knows that fish is food. Maybe you just don't want to eat fish. Even though fish is a food that contains a lot of protein, and is very good for the health of our bodies. Unless you are a vegetarian, then I understand why you don't eat fish. If you are not a vegetarian, then you should occasionally try to eat fish. It feels so good.

That seems delicious. We have fish balls or queck queck, Fish balls are made of fish, flour, salt and flavorings, while queck queck is made of quail eggs coated with egg and flour and then deep fried. You can eat them by dipping them in vinegar or tomato paste, catsup. They are delicious snack foods.
