Poetry: The real usefulness of effort requires no effort

I was seated in my easy chair,
just wondering what next to do.
I bent down to look at my shoe,
and nothing came to me, a clue?
God also sits on his heavenly throne,
but nothing is ever left undone, nor postponed.
God does all in his bidding of himself,
because nothing is left not to do, when all is done truly.
An endless effort saps you of all your strength.
Less effort sometimes means that more is done.
Happiness requires no effort to be happiness.
We need only live life effortlessly to be happy.
I sat back now more upright again in my chair.
I dared myself to make no effort to make effort.
I lived heartedly alive without the strain in the main,
alive with love, living in me making of me the effort.
Putting forth your best effort is never the best effort.
Effort must remain effortlessness to remain effort.
When we strive too hard to make an effort, effort,
we lose ourselves within the effort, being effort.

Does a donkey make an extra effort to be a donkey, or is it just forever itself, a donkey?

You from Australia that is the dude that tried to eat my hand, love that fool. Deployed there in 90s and one lonely donkey way out back went to pet him and was so happy somehow my whole hand ended up in his mouth.

"The less effort, the faster and more powerful you will be."
Bruce Lee
So, you just left your hand there, without making an effort to pull it out, or did you lose a finger, or two, to the donkey?
Donkey is, as donkey does, as donkey is.

@innertalks Honestly was shocked and knew donkeys not meat eaters so calmed my self and said I am Bruce Lee and will punch you in throat. Donkey look scared and gave my hand back. Just kidding.

@crossbones27 Yes, I heard that meat, if given to a donkey, can be fatal to it.
They are voracious eaters, though, and maybe, he thought your hand was a carrot, but if he started to choke on it, he might have wanted it out of his mouth, as quickly as possible too.

Yes, perhaps only humans try to be something other than what they really are.
When we are our real selves, not so much effort is needed, if we relax into the being of our real self. The effort is more needed to be, or try to be, that what we are not.

Some are busy-bees all their lives while a few are chronic worriers.
The former may forget to smell the roses and leave with nothing to show for all their efforts.
The latter is more of much ado about nothing.
I have always paused even during trying times as time is not only a healer but also an ingredient to find solutions.
When our intentions are noble and honorable, there is nothing to fear or fret about.
But then In the Australian Open it was a battle of attrition as Nadal and Medvedev battled for 5 hours and 24 minutes.
At the end, the latter asked the old war horse "don't you get tired?"

A genuine pause, where we do nothing, tends then to bring up the right new ideas, creatively from our minds. All work, and no such play, really does make of Jack a dull boy.
It was way past my bedtime here, when that match finished, so I had to learn of the result in the morning.
It was a battle and a half, and a fine 21st present for Nadal to win.

@Shiva49 The separation of amateurs and professionals, still happening in Laver's time, cost him dearly in the amount of grand slams that he won.

@innertalks A genuine pause enriches and helps us to take stock of our lives too.
The legend Rod Laver was also mightily pleased with the way the match was played.
Nadal has been winning for more than half his life despite injuries.
