Frankly, I am late by a month plus in sharing a personal book review.
The book :
The Rhinemann Exchange by Robert Ludlum.
This action thriller is one of the earliest (and perhaps the earliest) work by Robert Ludlum and got a good review across the media.
The story is in the backdrop of the WWII and follows the protagonist, an American spy with European roots in his journey as a spy in Portugal and surroundings and then to US and Argentina.
He gets caught in midst of a big muddle and a dangerous plot to alter the course of the war.
Fast paced and brutal at times, the story is a big page turner.
Yes, as with other Ludlum works, one could feel a sense of being overwhelmed and being lost among multiple characters but that is overshadowed by sudden twists and turns and an unimaginable ending.
Overall, a must read if one has an interest in this genre.

Yes even though(if you remember) I talked about a few writing styles of the author which hindered visualization.
But overall a page turner.

I hope you are doing great!
It might be as this is considered to be one of the best of Ludlum's works.
