Delivery from my son

My son put on a big crockpot full of beef stew this morning and then drove all the way to my house to bring me some for supper.
This was around 3 o clock, it wasn't quite done yet so I put it in my small crockpot to finish cooking. I tasted the broth and it was so good, he did use deer meat though instead of beef, so I hope that the meat will be as good as the broth.
I'm really blessed to have a son that is willing to drive around 30 miles just to bring me some of his stew. A lot of people's kids wouldn't do that to save their lives.

I like every once in a while, I ate some of the stew and it was good.

Thank you, he does look out for me I can say that. Tlhere's hardly a day goes by that he doesn't call to check on me. My othr two children are there for me if I really need them, I just don't hear from them as much as I do him.

I guess the real name for it is venison. It really depends on how it is cooked, I havea tasted it were it has a real strong wild taste. It is a really lean type of meat that has hardly any fat to it at all. It tastes good in a stew or cooking it as a roast.

Oh yea, I am blessed to have three children that looks out for me, their there for me whenever I need them .The one that brought me dinner today is always calling me and if he doesn't hear from me he will ether have someone check on me or come hisself.

My adult kids do crazy stuff for me a lot of times like this, it means so much! I'm so glad he is so loving. What a blessing, for sure.
