This story is very odd since Robert Taylor who resides in Arizona was playing the slot machines at the Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas recently when he walked away empty handed not realizing that he won near $230,000 dollars.
The slot machine had a malfunction that did not notify Robert that he won the jackpot by making noises and a light display to inform him that he won the jackpot money.
Thanks to officials of the Nevada Gaming Board who did an investigation on finding Robert by interviewing eyewitnesses, cameras inside the casino that recorded the events of the incident and other forms of solving the case, the officials did identify Robert as the winner of $229,368.52 dollars.
What Robert plans to do with his casino earnings is not known at this time however.
Technology did its part to solve this case.

I know what you mean since most entertainment shows have the lead character leaving the casino broken hearted after blowing their money.

I know what you mean since it is very hard to win huge prizes on slot machines these days.

I hope so as well since many people go broke throwing away their money on items they do not need.

Wow! I'm amazed that the casino even went to the trouble of identifying him. Robert is very lucky.

That is what I was thinking since there are news stories that if a gambler steals money from a casino, officials would be looking for him or her.

That is true since the gaming commission officers in Nevada are doing their best to present a positive image of their business.

It is kind of rare to learn that casino machines do have malfunctions.

@Deepizzaguy It depends on how much the machines are used. They do wear out.
