February 9 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for the doctor's appointment this morning. I wish I could be off the Eliquis but with my history of blood clots, it's not going to happen.
I'm thankful I got my door decorated and found the missing sheet of gel stickers. It looks even better than the first time.
I'm thankful for the nice weather. We're in the high 30s today. It's going to be a heatwave for the next few days. It seems Spring is coming. It can wait. I haven't had my fill of Winter yet.
I'm thankful for leftovers. I made cheesy potato soup yesterday and still have plenty today.
I'm thankful I talked to my sister today. I called her to admit I'm getting old. Yes, I did admit it. I'm getting old. I'm not old yet.

To see the sun again after a couple days of nasty rainy weather. As well as the current warming trend. While I do enjoy the cold better than my husband, I don't enjoy the pain.

I am thankful for the nice weather and a color print cartridge was delivered by the postal carrier in the afternoon.

@wolfgirl569 When it comes to snow, I don't want to share. It's Mother Nature who makes the decision though. You know how Mothers are. They insist their children share.

I'm thankful for FaceTime, so I can talk to my son who moved 4 hours away back at the beginning of January.

@just4him It's an app on the iPhone. I'm not sure how you use FaceTime on Android phones.

Your door looks very nice, good job Valerie:) Imagine telling everyone that I hit 70 years old, I'm finally an antique! Cheesy potato soup, I've never had that before. It's 30 degrees here today, fairly nice:)

@kobesbuddy That's what my computer screen says too right now. It was 37 when I got up this morning. It's going to get really cold tonight. I was out. It was nice. I'm glad I did my laundry when I did.

I am glad you have a lot to be grateful for. I'm struggling with nothing going my way lately. We do have a trip planned for February 20-27th. I hope the weather there clears up (so far I'm seeing a lot of rain) and we have an awesome time in the sun and surf.
