A female dog that fell into a 15 foot deep hole in Paxton needed the help from the South Walton Fire District to her out of a trap that caused have ended in a sad ending for the dog.
The breed and name of the dog were not mentioned. The Technical Rescue Team was responsible for the rescue of the dog when a ladder was lowered into the hole where the dog was located with a safety line that would be used to life her out of her surroundings.
One of the firefighters used a harness to get the dog out of the hole and into the surface with two firefighters assisting the third firefighter out of her possible graveyard into safety.
The dog then was taken by the firefighters to the Walton County Animal Control to be checked on for any injuries that she may have encountered when she fell into the hole.
Employees of the Walton County Public Works filled the deep hole to make sure that no one falls into the hole again.
Our firefighters did a super job rescuing an animal in need to be rescued once again.

I agree with you since the dog must have had a guardian angel looking out for her.
