The last couple of days I have been enjoying seeing birds lighting on the tree limbs outside of my window. I guess they are nibbling on new buds. There have been a lot of them too. Wrens mostly and a few doves.
I used to enjoy this time of year so much. Wandering through the gardening department at Walmart. Picking up some herbs and a pretty flower or two to plant. Sometimes I would put them in planters outside or have them in cute little pots inside. I don't have any growing now. My daughter has some lavender she is caring for outback. We can't do much here. Any clutter is a no-no.
On my favorite shopping network, they have been selling these beautiful bushes that bring butterflies and such into your yard. (I didn't know that the Monarch butterflies only eat from one type of plant)If I had a yard of my own I would have some of the bushes out there.
Right now they are showing some pretty betting sets with throws and pillows. Love to dream of how I would decorate my dream home. Wonder if I will ever get to have a home again.

@DianneN .......I am so thankful to have this voucher. If we didn't we would be homeless. We have no family or friends and no savings to buy a place. Wish we did. I am really beginning to hate living here.

Once we find our forever home I will plant many milkweed plants. I remember when I was young this plant was abundant and the monarch’s thrived.
