Doudging the super bowl bullett.

I know there are going to be some posts about today's big game. I know a lot of members are super bowl fans. My husband, George and I aren't among them. Sorry to all you football fans out there.
However, I have to admit, I'm relieved. Normally, this being the big game, George usually has to work. However, this year, he doesn't. He got it off. His last super bowl was last year and he's just over the moon about it. And, so am I. I don't have to worry about him driving home in the post-game chaos.
So, we're enjoying a nice day at home, hoping we can beat the rain.

I'm just glad my hubby gets to be home. I just hope the game doesn't ruin my husband's favorite weekly radio show. We're both expecting it might.

Me! I consider it wildly nuts. So much money on a game,for Pete's sake. I heard tickets were $3 grand? Who can pay that? Who on earth would even want to? Most of the people I know who follow the Super Bowl just seem to have drunken parties and eat and drink too much, and yell at the television. Just not something I enjoy.

Same here. I worry about him driving sometimes. Happy he doesn't have to do it today. Same here. He feels the same.
