Visiting quiet places.

There are two places that I consider quiet, that you can visit and sit and think about anything: the beach and a square. I love to sit and talk for an hour and just disconnect from everything, and connect with that human contact that talking gives you. And sometimes, when I need to think, I go to a square, sit down and write in my notebook, or draw in it. What is your quiet place? P.S. The picture was taken by me, it is the Plaza 4 Caras, in the city of Barcelona, AnzoƔtegui State. Venezuela.

I like the wide open spaces or the Australian bush. I've never been a beach person but I know for many people it's their 'go-to' spot for peace and contemplation.

I would say my bedroom is my quiet place.

I find solace in quiet places too. A good nice park with people jogging or cycling will be nice, or visiting museums and quiet exhibitions too.

There's a business park not for from where I live. I used to work for one of the companies that has premises in it. When I resigned from my job, they forgot to invalidate my access card. Sometimes, I go running there on weekends, but I haven't done so for a while. If I'm fortunate, I'll encounter some of the small antelope that live in the grounds.

Unfortunately, I'm always in the city, but have wanted to go out in nature, but I work from home studio, so I haven't been able to do this in many years. I guess the shower? Or, after midnight, when I can't sleep, I'll sometimes just enjoy the quiet. Sometimes I'll even go to my front porch and look around at the neighborhood, hoping it would stay quiet :) I can't stand barking dogs, loud people who make it difficult to concentrate. I live alone, and want to feel like I'm the only one in the world, unless someone comes over.
