I am a housebound senior citizen. I am usually watching tv or something on the Roku. Today I had it off and I was working on here. That has been my MO the last few weeks. So, I worked for several hours online and decided to relax and watch my favorite newscaster on MSNBC. So, turn my tv on and it the picture is flashing. What! What's going on? I turned it off and back on. Didn't help. I had my daughter refresh the DVR. Didn't help. I started to call cable when my grandson walked by and I had him look at it. He, and the friend he had over, both determined it was the HDMI cable. It was bent. My grandson's friend said he had a bunch of those cords and would go get one. They put the new one on the back of the tv and it works fine now. I am so thankful for my grandson's expertise and his friend's quick eye. I can't go for long without some tv.

Always a good idea to check the cord/plug.

Me too! I haven't had it a year yet so I could get it replaced. Glad it wasn't the tv though.

That was nice of your grandson's friend to help you out. Now you have a perfect working TV again.
