Paper Beads

Lately I've gotten back into an old hobby of mine. Paper beads. These are Hand rolled, hand glazed (5 layers!) paper beads made from watercolor paper that was hand painted. I now remember why I rarely make paper beads. I love it, but it's hard on my fingers wrapping them on toothpicks and hand painting each bead with 5 layers of gloss. I'll be so happy when my bead rolling tools get here (today?). That should help the wrapping them part. The glazing is still gonna be tedious though.

They're gorgeous! Do you use Mod Podge for the glaze? That's such a useful medium!

The beads look perfect but also a bit like larvae of an unknown insect to me. :-) What will you do with them?

These look cute !! These are made of paper ? How small are they ? This is interesting.
