This is the very first food that I learnt how to cook it. It called Dendeng. It wasn't as perfect as my mom cook it but it tasted good - and yes, it's spicy. I wish I can learnt more how to cook Indonesian food before. I was so spoiled back then, it's very rare I spent time on the kitchen with my mom. Then right before pandemic I decided to marry and living abroad and missed her food so much. Hopefully pandemic will go away soon so I can tasted her food again

@askme123 yes, he was born on Oct last year when Delta varian just came in Europe. Pandemic really makes everything harder, hope this pandemic will pass soon. And btw that food isn't so spicy as it looks, the redness come from tomatoes also

It's pretty much gone, it's now about what risks you're willing to take as a person. And, of course what restrictions (if any) your country has for travel.

Nope, it isn't. It's beef, you can also made it with the heart of cow. I prefer with the heart actually than meat. But both of them are delicious

I know how you feel missing the food your mother cooked and living in a foreign country. When I got married and came to Germany, I only knew how to cook 2 Filipino food and was missing my mothers cooking. I felt homesick, too. Then I learned how to cook through cooking books that I bought. You can search on you tube how to cook your Indonesian food.
