Placer County Sheriff's Office Deputy Stanislav Semenuk was the right place at the right time on Saturday afternoon when he stopped his auto to have a chat with a male teenager who was having personal problems in his life that he had a hard time dealing with.
Officer Semenuk then saw am auto coming toward the teen and the deputy using his instincts grabbed the teen and pushed him out of the way to avoid being hit by the speeding auto.
The deputy then had a chat with the teen trying to cheer him up that problems can be solved by talking to him.
When the teen did not respond to the deputy's request to speak about his personal problem, his K9 dog partner Ronin was the way that the teen would speak up to the police officer about dealing with his personal problems since he saw that the dog would be very sad that he would lose his partner had he been hit by the auto on the road.
When the teen saw that had he died in the auto accident, his relatives would be sad that they lost on their close relatives.
Since the incident was seen by a police helicopter in the area, the driver who nearly ran over the teen and the deputy was taken into custody for driving an auto with a suspended license.
Officer Semenuk mentioned that he was just doing his job in serving his community and that police officers do their best to protect and serve their communities without any expectation of any reward from the public.
I am sure that the teen learned a lesson that taking his own life is not the answer to deal with life's problems since we all have potential to do great things in our lives.

I agree with you since the officer mentioned that these kinds of actions are hardly ever reported in the evening news.

I agree with you since the teen is probably depressed dealing with either a family matter or failing in school.

I agree with you that the officer saved the life of a teen who wanted to take his own life and give him a reason to live.

He really was lucky that the officer did save him from being struck by an auto as well as himself.

It really is scary to nearly get hurt by an auto.

That is true since the police officer admits that saving lives is part of his job.

The same here since the officer said he and his fellow officers deal with these problems that people in their community deal with.

I agree with you since the officer did tell the teen the message of how would his relatives feel if he killed himself, he would hurt his relatives more than himself.
