Make believe

I am watching a show on television and a part of the show someone walked into the house and the dad and son was talking about a horse which the son did not have it was make believe and then the son came to his dad talking about a guy and this guy gave the kid a quarter so the dad made the kid take him where the guy was and he was gone the dad took him home and was going to spank him for fibbing but he was not. In the end the dad got to see the guy. Did you ever play make believe or have a imaginary friend when you was a kid? Sorry so long

My oldest daughter had an imaginary dog. The dog went everywhere she went. She was five I believe when we were in the grocery store and some man heard her and came to tell me that he would get the office to announce missing boy, don't worry ma'am! I said, WHAT?? He explained that he saw her looking everywhere up and down the aisle and calling him. That is when I told him that she has an imaginary dog.

@Tina30219 We had gotten used to it. I had discussed this with the pediatrician and she suggested that we just ignore it and let her get tired of it.

Wow I bet the man freaked you out. Sometimes I wish people would mind their own business the child had a imaginary dog leave the poor child be

I never had a make believe friend. I am glad that in the story the Dad saw the man.

Me also at first he was really upset was going to spank the child. The dad in the show is a cop his deputy took down information what the guy looked like they was going to look for him

My sister and I had big imaginations as kids. We played make believe a lot.

I don’t think it is so bad of a thing for a child to do as long as it is not hurting anyone else.

I played make believe with my friends but didn't have an imaginary friend. I know some did and in a sense they were very real to the person.

Yeah I have only seen it in shows. I seen it in one show where the child even saved a chair for the friend.

@Courtlynn Right when we get older we tend to forget our childhood especially if it was not that good
