The Rabbi, Anton Schrenev, had lived a long life, and he was feeling tired and weary.
Nothing seemed to be able to perk him up.
Then, a student came up to him, and asked him,
"Does God ever get tired, so why would you ever get tired too?"
The Rabbi replied,
"I am not God."
The student said,
"Well, stop getting tired, and be God now, as God is you, when you be him."
The Rabbi smiled.
"You are right my lad. I should allow God to be himself within myself, and then I will never be tired, as I will be being God in me, not so much then just me in me."
"Our life should not be just a long process that makes us tired. It's a sin against life for us to be tired of our life."

The old Rabbi was very tired of it all, until his student showed him the truth about his tiredness.

To retain the joie de vivre all the time is not easy.
I like to play it out but try at the same time to look at the positives in the all-pervading gloom and doom that tends to envelop us from time to time. I pep up with "when the going gets tough, the tough get going" and "I am made of sterner stuff".
The meeting with our creator would keep us on our toes anytime as we are inching towards that moment by the day.

Yes, we need to look adversity in the eye, and move past it, rather than closing our eyes, and hiding our life behind every adversity that occurs for us in our lives.
Each adversity is also a step on our path going forwards, and nothing moves us back, unless we move ourselves back.

@innertalks Adversity teaches us to reflect on our strengths.
I look back on the tough turns in my life that gave me confidence that I am made of sterner stuff. Back against the wall fightbacks are worth recalling any time.
Every generation has to go through a baptism of fire so that they realize their full potential. Otherwise, we sleep through our lives and turn tail at the first sign of challenges that we face.
Taking our creator on board will help us stay the course and on the path towards justice and fair play.

@Shiva49 Yes, with God on board, we can conquer any adversity, as nothing is greater than God.
And so, God can help us in any adversity, if we ask him humbly for his help.
