I just ate some bread with lots of butter and cheese.
I am waiting for the gas cylinder and then I´ll make a big dish of fruits. I have nectarines, an orange, grapes and prickly pears. The last fruit, favorites here, were given to me by my aunt. Someone had brought them to her, but she cannot eat anything with small seeds.
I still have some Camembert cheese, fresh mushrooms and Mexican tortillas to make quesadillas. It is not as if I did not have food. It´s just that I want that. I almost sent for some Kentucky fried chicken after watching the commercial on TV. Then I remembered that I had just made 4 chicken thighs and that they are in the fridge.
I have eaten all the salami. I can´t wait for my birthday in June. As I don´t want to cook for a lot of people, I will buy a whole jamón Serrano leg. It comes installed in an iron thingie and has a knive to cut it.
I´ll also buy bread and the guests will bring wine and liquor as gifts. I don´t want anything presents anymore. I am now in the process of giving away what I have.

I´ll be perfectly happy with them although I have cooked rice and a couple of nice already made sides to go along with it.

Prickly pear was introduced here in Queensland but is now an invasive weed. I'm not sure how many eat or use the pears.

I love a piece of salami with Swiss cheese. KFC chicken sounds good; but it's very expensive.
