Thanks to the efforts of the 911 dispatcher who was able to keep a woman who was trapped inside of a burning building in Knoxville Tennessee on Wednesday afternoon, the Knoxville Fire Department firefighters were able to work as a team with the dispatcher who kept the woman who needed help to escape from the smoke filled room in the basement of the former Dial Page building which is supposed to be vacant. The identity of the woman who was trapped inside of the burning building was not released. Thanks to two firefighters who were able to find her inside of the basement since she was talking to the dispatcher at the time, the two firefighters were able to get her out of the burning building in time. The other two firefighters were able to put out the fire in less than two hours. The former Dial Page suffered moderate damage. The fire victim was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center to be treated for smoke inhalation. I am sure that she will make a full recovery as well as answer questions of what was she doing inside of a building that was supposed to be vacant at the time of the fire that is being investigated by the authorities..

It is a mystery that she was inside a supposedly empty building. She might have to explain that to the police.

@Deepizzaguy I hope she isn’t punished for being homeless.

Thankful the dispatcher was able to keep talking with her until the firemen were able to reach her and bring her out of the building. I'm wondering if she may be homeless. Our old hospital which has been closed for over a decade now has homeless people living in it. It is very sad to know people have to resort to living in dilapidated buildings.

She might be homeless since she was with a group of people that got out of the building safely before she was rescued by the firefighters.

I wonder if you'll ever find out what she was doing in the building.

Probably a homeless person or she was just in the building looking for something.
