Its the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine....

A lot of U.K antivaxers attacked Covid lockdowns , some of their arguments idiotic, like saying the deaths were still high during knockdowns so they don't work. Clearly with no lockdowns the deaths would have been higher. When lockdowns were in effect cases dropped sharply here. Less cases. less deaths... The more people vaccinated the less deaths... A proper lockdown meant people couldn't mix, people were paid not to go to work and so mix, and leisure and retail was closed down to stop mixing. When the at risk were vaxed we saw dramatic falls in deaths and lockdowns no longer needed. The true subliminal power to the lockdown was all about fear. Governments needed to make people scared of Covid as they knew how dangerous it was going to be for the population and people needed to be scared to follow strict rules, as they indeed did here. But a government enforced lockdown gave the people confidence, to go with that fear, that someone was is in CONTROL and so they would be safe by obeying the rules. It worked. They cant do that with Putin. I can prove that point by the fear growing around the Ukraine War. People around the world have stopped worrying about Covid and have WW3 on their minds, the fear of a nuclear strike. The Russian psychology of putting nukes in the mix is simple and very clever - they want the West to want the heroic Ukraine to die quickly and give up quicker so that fear goes away. A lot of people right now want the western governments they didn't trust over Covid to give them that type of security and peace of mind the way Covid lockdowns did to make that fear go away. They now want their governments to make it stop. But they cant and antivaxers having to accept that some things are simply uncontrollable, whatever crazy conspiracy theories they tell themselves, like Covid two years ago. exactly why we invented Gods in ancient history to pray for those bad things to go away when no one is in control...

Everybody wants peace, but it's rather expensive at times.

Not different from all religions, they create fear so that people will pray and behave. If you do not do what we say, you will go to hell... if you do not get the vaccine you will die... if you do not surrender all the people on this earth will die.

I noticed that in the videos my husband is watching on the news lately about the war. I haven’t seen one person on there wear masks and people are going to other countries etc.

It's good that the focus is drifting away from COVID. Using fear is never a good thing, but it's done. With social media making the world a smaller place, all to easy.
