Good Communication

I really think that good communication is very important in any relationship. Of course, honesty plays a quick second to this too. Well, I think a certain 39-year-old Sherri Papini needs to hear this. Back on November 2, 2016, she was supposedly abducted and held for about three weeks by two Hispanic women. I think I posted a story about this because I was wondering what all had happened to this woman. Well, fast forward to 2022 and find this woman up on charges by the U.S. Attorney's Office who alleges she was actually staying with a former boyfriend in Costa Mesa. She had lost weight, cut her hair short, and, had been branded on her right shoulder. She even harmed herself to help in supporting her false allegations. She had also had the California Victim's Compensation Board pay her over $30,000 for the cost of therapy and transportation. Can you believe it? Also added into this is the five years of investigation into who had abducted her done by the Sacramento, California police. And, the general public had been fearful for their own safety during this time as well. How dare she!! All of this because she couldn't communicate the truth to her husband (and children).

I saw that on the news and remember all that from a few years ago. What a liar and scammer - what a terrible thing to do to her own family, community, and the system .

That's for sure. I thought weird thoughts when I first read about what she was saying had happened to her. But, I didn't think she was lying. I felt rather bad for her and wondered what weird story would come out about the two Hispanic women and why they had kidnapped her. Never thought she lied.

@celticeagle Right? Who'd think anyone would ever do that. That takes lies to a whole 'nother level. I saw some interview with her ex-boyfriend. He said she used to come up with the weirdest excuses for everything . . . so when he heard about her disappearance, he felt like this was another one of her tricks.
