This story that comes from Irwindale California is a very odd story since the Irwindale Police Department is trying to find out how an abandoned boat was placed on the street with a rope attached to a "No Parking" sign on Sunday. The funny thing is that the captain of the abandoned boat that did not have a trailer did leave the boat in a safe place before leaving the area most likely during the night since there were no reports of any police officers driving in the area. Irwindale city officials did remove the boat from the no parking zone to a local tow yard. Irwindale Police Sergeant Rudy Gatto mentioned that the registration of the abandoned boat has expired. Sergeant Gatto mentioned that a notice has been sent to the owner of the whereabouts of the boat that is mostly an abandoned boat since it does not appear to have been stolen. I know of stories of boats that have landed on streets in cities where hurricanes have hit after the force of the wind hurl the boat from the water to the concrete but never seen a boat that was abandoned on a no parking zone.

We can only guess what happened to the boat winding up on the street in a no parking zone.

It is odd to see a boat tied up on a post.

That does seems a very strange thing to happen. I wonder what the background to it is.

That is a good question since I believe that the boat was no longer useful to its owner.

I agree with you that a boat cannot be driven on a street without a platform on a tow truck or something like that method.
